Advantage Land Company - How it Works

Before Registering:

We encourage you to browse through our site. All pictures, details, maps, disclosures, and title information are made available without registering. You may even watch auctions that are in progress to get a general idea of how our site works.

We highly recommend that you sign up for our "Practice Auction" prior to bidding in a live auction, to get more familiar with our web site.

How it works:

1 - Register For Web Site
Click on "Register" and read through and accept the terms and conditions of the User Agreement for Advantage Land Co. Be sure to keep a copy of your User ID and Password for future use. After signing in, you will be able to change your password.

2 - Register For Specified Auction
After you get registered on our site you will need to go to the auction you are interested in placing a bid, and in this page you will see "Click Here To Register For This Auction." Once you have located the link, click to become registered for the specified auction.

3 - Contact Broker
Contact the listing broker for information on depositing the bidding fee in the brokers trust account. Keep in mind, if you are not the successful bidder your money will be returned to you the next business day.

4 - Activation
Once the bidding fee has been received by the listing broker and placed in the trust account, your account will be activated only for the auction you have requested. You will then be able to bid.

5 - Account Adjustments
Login using your user ID and Password. It is highly recommended that you change your password to something you are more familiar with and that is easy to remember.

6 - Reminders
Toward the end of the auctions time limit, the bidding increments may decrease to a lower minimum bid. The bidding increments will never increase. Example: Bid Increment: $5,000 to Bid Increment: $1,000. This means you will have less of an amount to bid for your minimum bid.

Each bid is a binding offer to purchase Real Estate in that specific auction, so bid responsibly.

Be sure to follow the bid instructions on the specific auction page you are activated to bid on.

Click the refresh button frequently to update the page especially towards the end of the auction's time limit. It is critical that you click the refresh button so you can see the latest bid and current time of the auction.
